What changed
Most old pairs produce a different Pal in 1.0
Both versions come from PalCalc snapshots. PalShift matches Pals by their internal game name, not by Paldeck number, so a 1.0 renumbering is not mistaken for a changed breeding result.
Data notes
Why both data versions matter
Versioned source
Pre-1.0 uses palcalc v1.17.1. Current data uses v1.17.3, the first corrected 1.0 release line.
Roster wording
The game data contains 299 rows. The official roster is 287 Pals; Terraria entries are marked as collab creatures and special Gumoss is kept separate.
Independent tool
PalShift builds its comparison from public PalCalc snapshots. It does not call another breeding calculator at runtime.
Quick answers
Anubis breeding after 1.0
Why does Penking + Bushi no longer make Anubis?
That pair produced Anubis before 1.0. In the current data it produces Sibelyx, because the 1.0 breeding values and special combinations changed.
Can Anubis still be bred in Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Anubis still has 233 current routes using two different parents. The checker lists the first verified options from the current dataset.
